About CUAMM
Doctors with Africa CUAMM is an international NGO committed to universal access to quality health services, prioritizing the most vulnerable populations. CUAMM is a Sub-Recipient of the Global Fund Malaria (UGA-M-TASO) and TB/RSSH (UGA-C-TASO) Grants, supporting district, health facility, and community-level interventions across Karamoja, Teso, Acholi, and South Buganda regions up to December 2026. The Program Manager will provide overall leadership and coordination for the implementation of Global Fund Malaria and TB/RSSH grant activities. The role focuses on strengthening malaria and TB prevention, case management, community health systems, and the use of HMIS for disease surveillance, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting across targeted districts.
Key Responsibilities and Required Qualifications & Experience
Lead and coordinate implementation of Global Fund Malaria and TB/RSSH grant activities in line with grant agreements and work plans.
Provide technical support to district health offices, health facilities, and community-based organizations.
Strengthen malaria and TB case detection, prevention, community systems, and HMIS reporting and data use.
Ensure quality reporting, documentation of best practices, and stakeholder engagement at district and national levels.
Lead, supervise, and appraise project staff and ensure effective financial, administrative, and asset management.
Manage budgets, accountabilities, and coordination with TASO and CUAMM HQ.

Master’s degree in Public Health or related field (MPH, MSc HSM, Epidemiology, International Health, Health Services Research) Primary degree in medicine/health with extensive public health experience.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project implementation, community development, M&E, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong technical expertise in malaria and TB programming and community systems strengthening.
Knowledge of Uganda’s health policy and experience working within the district health system.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
