Job Title: Project Officer
Position Type: Full Time National Staff
Location: Amudat
Reports to: Program Area Manager
Contract Length: 2 years (Fixed)
Start Date: Immediate (To be hired on rolling basis)

Job Summary
Summary of Key Functions:
• Provide technical support to the project team
• Monitoring and reporting on Livelihood issues
• Networking and coordination
• Knowledge management and knowledge sharing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Result #2: – Monitoring and reporting on Livelihood and gender issues
Key Result #3: – Networking and Coordination

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary medicine, Social Sciences or related field with two years of relevant experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English a must. Working knowledge of Pokot and other languages spoken in Karamoja/ Amudat will be an added advantage
• NB: The job requires possession of riding experience and a valid riding permit.
