Rukundo Preparatory School is looking for a caring and responsible School Nurse / Health Support Officer to join our team and support the health, safety, and wellbeing of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic medical care and first aid to learners.
• Monitor learners’ health and refer serious cases to a health facility.
• Maintain simple health records for each learner.
• Support hygiene routines in dormitories, bathrooms, and classrooms.
• Respond to accidents or emergencies and report to the Head Teacher.
• Work closely with teachers and boarding staff to ensure learners are safe and well.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate in Comprehensive Nursing
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council (UNMC) and hold a valid practicing license.
• Ability to read and write; basic health training or experience is a plus.
• Experience in child care, first aid, or school health is an advantage.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices is helpful.
