Corporate Responsibility Scorecard .

From the project proposal, develop a system for routine data collection of all program indicators. Create and share the schedule of all major assessments, resources and timelines that will need to be followed and plan ahead to collect and analyse and allow leaders to analyse results to recommend adjustments before reporting to USAID.
From the project proposal, develop a document for each team member including the indicators that will measure that team member’s contribution to project goals and outcomes. Share M&E plans with staff individually and document their M&E capacity building and support needs with a plan to achieve capacity goals using measureable, observable indicators. Create a final document to be provided to the Chief of Party no later than 2 months after date of hire. Use this plan to build staff capacity during the first year.
Contribute to evaluation planning to ensure accurate documentation of baseline statistics, differences in enabling environments and to help the team strategize and plan key interventions.
Analyse monitoring data relevant to different stakeholders and present it in a manner that encourages changes, makes it easier and that is meaningful and accessible to the target audience. Build their capacity to collect and use data to continuously learn and adapt. Identity key sustainable stakeholders to train trainers and increase use of data at every level: DHT, VHT, VSLA, Co-ops, MOH, Uganda Mission…)
Fill out and turn in timely reports to the Uganda Mission, USAID and partners. Coordinate in-country partnerships for data sharing. Attend meetings and training as required to fulfill this goal. Support increased use of data at every level and build a portfolio of evidence to show your impact in this way.
M&E Manager is a leadership position expected to be able to assess program data and processes to identify weaknesses and gaps. Research for data collection tools may be necessary or tools may need to be created to inform the best way forward. Search for innovative systems improvement solutions and build team and stakeholder capacity to innovate and adjust when process improvement opportunities are identified.
Use Criterion Referenced Instruction methodology to create training plans with pre and post criterion checks that measure capacity of stakeholders to track and use data as needed to reach program goals
Submit annual scorecards to chief of party for approval before conducting reviews leaving time for feedback at least two weeks before annual review dates. Conduct reviews with direct report based on scorecard results. Set clear goals, monitor progress toward goals to make sure goals are being reached and take proactive action if necessary, to address and overcome performance issues. Actively build data team and stakeholder M&E and data use skills and encourage transition of responsibilities to build a network of stakeholders capable of using data to make informed decisions. Add new challenges as staff and stakeholder skills warrant.

Job Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree
