Job Description


The Sub-D Van Sales Rep is responsible for selling and delivering products to sub-distributors or wholesale outlets within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong trade relationships, ensuring sub-distributors are well-supplied, and executing primary sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit sub-distributors and wholesale accounts daily as per the assigned route plan.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales volume and value targets.
  • Take orders, ensure timely delivery, and manage collections from accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with sub-distributor principals.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, stock rotation, and brand visibility at sub-distributor points.
  • Monitor sub-distributor stock levels and provide feedback on market intelligence/competition.
  • Explain and implement company promotions, schemes, and trade policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Business or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in van sales, preferably dealing with distributors or wholesalers.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
