Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill vacant posts of parish chief currently available at Nakapiripirit District Local Government under the implementation of Parish Development Model (PDM), P.O. Box 1, Nakapiripirit to be received not later than Monday 27th September, 2021.

Terms Of Employment: One (1) Year Contract

Qualifications
Diploma in Public Administration and Management; Social work and Social administration, Development studies or business administration.
Should have the following competencies: Planning, organizing and coordinating, records management, Mobilization skills, Public relations and customer care, communicating effectively ethics and integrity, concern for quality and standards, networking.

Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and compiling reports on parish operations for the attention of the Senior Assistant Secretary, collecting and accounting for local revenue in the parish
Preparing work plans and budgets for the operations of the parish
Enforcing the implementation of National and Local Government policies, programs and council bye laws in the parish
Undertaking the mobilization of the parish community for Government development programs and projects, providing technical support to the parish council on any matters relating to Lower Local Government governance, undertaking duties of secretariat to the parish council
Managing and monitoring Local Government projects implemented in the parish, coordinating the maintenance of law

Method of Application

Application Forms should be submitted in triplicate to the Secretary District Service Commission Nakapiripirit. Applicants should attach certified photocopies of their academic certificates and transcripts with three copies of recent passport size photographs, application forms should bear the title and reference number of the post applied for, serving officers should route their applications through the responsible officers who should be informed of the date of closure to avoid late submission.
Those invited for interviews Must come with their original certificates and National Identification Card.
Applicants who shall not hear from the District Service Commission on completion of the selection exercise should consider themselves unsuccessful.
