Job Description


Our client seeks to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Supermarket Manager.

Job Summary:
Supermarket Manager will be responsible handling various operational aspects such as managing inventories, recruiting staff, budgeting, enforcing safety policies, ordering products, and analyzing sales performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness of the supermarket.
• Ensure the supermarket is fully stocked all the time.
• Attend to customer inquiries/ complaints.
• Responsible for managing the performance of the staff
• Ensure that the supermarket is open and closed as required by the management.
• Ensure that stock taking is done regularly.
• Ensure that pricing of products is accurately done
• Monitors the buying trends of customers and analyzes the procurement function appropriately.
• Ensure security of the supermarket.
• Handles the balancing of sales, payment of service providers/ suppliers
• Responsible for training of staff in sales and customer care

Skills and requirements
You must impress us if you;
• Have a diploma or degree
• 5 years experience in a similar role
• Radiate with warmth and energy
• Have strong leadership abilities
