Job Description


The Support, Accounts role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position involves analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities also include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing tax returns. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Collaborate with other departments for financial planning.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Maintain and update accounting software and systems.
• Manage payroll processing.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
