Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Presales Engineer at Analytics Business Centre in Kampala. The Technical Presales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting technical solutions, and conducting product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Provide technical support and answer customer inquiries during the sales process.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and technical specifications.
• Assist with proof of concept (PoC) projects to validate proposed solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
• Train sales teams on the technical aspects of products and solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Technical background in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and technology solutions
• Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with CRM or sales support tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
