JOB DETAILS:

Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for positions at the University. Applicants should not exceed 50 years of age.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Implement guidelines and regulations to ensure safety in the work place.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a functional condition.
• Assist in the preparation of students’ practical’s, industrial training, internship and fieldwork.
• Participate in research and consultancy.

Qualifications

• An Ordinary Diploma with 3 years’ experience in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Three (3) years’ experience in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Knowledge about equipment and facilities
• A team player with good interpersonal relations
• Ability to communicate precisely and concisely
• Analytical skills
• Proficiency in using machines and computers
