Job Description
About US:
Ankole Coffee Producers Co-operative Union Ltd (ACPCU) was founded by 10 primary cooperative societies in 2006. It has now grown to cover 20 Primary Cooperative Societies with about 10,000 individual farmers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a training and development officer, you’ll be required to:
- Identify training needs within ACPCU and primary cooperative society staff in effective financial management.
- Developing HR training and development strategies with line managers by considering immediate and long-term staff requirements.
- Analyzing training needs in conjunction with line managers.
- Identify training needs for farmers and design appropriate training programs.
- Designing and implementing appropriate e-learning strategies.
- Promoting an open knowledge-sharing environment that builds knowledge, skills and service for the benefit of the organization.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelors degree in Commerce or Business Administration
- Post graduate training in Cooperative related courses.
- Fluent in Runyakitara (Local language) is a must
- Should possess a valid motorcycle driving permit
- At least two years in a similar position with in a busy and reputable organization
