Job Description
The Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau, a leading Christian organization coordinating over 302 health centers and 18 hospitals all over Uganda, is inviting applications for the following position from suitably qualified individuals to work as part of a professional and self-driven team.
Job Title: Accountant
Reports To: Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
To undertake all the finance and accounting support for the department and ensure that all accountancy processes and controls are followed by all UPMB Staff.
Minimum qualifications:
• Professional qualification in ACCA or CPA
• A Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce or Business Administration majoring in accounting
• At least eight (8) years of experience in a similar position in an NGO, five (5) of them in middle management positions in Accounting and Finance
• Knowledge in Navision accounting software.
