Job Description
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor of Science in Ecological Organic Agriculture or Sustainable Agriculture or Agro ecology with a minimum of Upper Second or CGPA of 3.6
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working directly with communities in the area of organic farming or sustainable agriculture or agro ecology.
• Knowledge in participatory methodologies will be an added advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build capacity of Caritas Mbarara in Organic farming
• Carrying out field work in communities while promoting organic farming
• Designing training materials in line with organic farming principles Documenting best practices with regard to organic farming
• Supporting innovations in organic farming among Small Holder Farmers
SKILLS
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of the team.
• Strong knowledge in computer
