Job Description
The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) is a corporate body underthe Ministry of Education and Sports. It is responsible for inter-alia development of curricula and related materials for various level of education i.e Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary), organising capacity building courses for stakeholders on curricula and matters related to curriculum.
NCDC invites applications from resourceful and qualified individuals to fill the following vacancies at the National Curiculum Development Centre. Closing date for application is two (2) weeks from the date of this publication.
Salary Scale: ASSISTANT CURRICULUM SPECIALIST: CD6
Reports to: The Manager
Job Purpose
To initiate, coordinate and edit curriculum for Curriculum and related materials developed by Specialist: panels in the subject of specialty under the guidance and supervision of the senior specialist.
Terms of Service: Permanent
Person Specifications:
• Qualifications – ASSISTANT CURRICULUM SPECIALIST An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree with a qualification in Education.
Work Experience – ASSISTANT CURRICULUM SPECIALIST
At least three (3) years teaching experience in the subject of specialty or participating in Curriculum design and development.
Age limit: CURRICULUM SPECIALIST: 25-50 years
