Job Summary:

A cabin groomer is responsible for the cleaning of Aircraft cabins of Uganda Airlines after each flight.

Key accountabilities /responsibilities:

• Wiping down all surface like seats, tray tables.
• Cleaning the inside of sear pockets.
• Vacuuming floors around the seats and aisles.
• Collecting all the trash in the cabin.
• Clearing all trash cans.
• Cleaning and brushing the lavatories meticulously.
• Spraying air freshener.
• Being courteous to passengers in transit.
• Maintain very good personal hygiene.
• Safe custody of any valuable items that maybe left behind by a passenger.
• Maintaining a safe environment.
• Clearing the aisles for easy movement.
• Re-stocking the seat pockets with inflight magazines or promotional items.

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, experience):

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
• Certificate or a Diploma holder with experience in cleaning services
• Knowledge in the use of cleaning chemicals
• General knowledge in Airside Safety, Airside Driving and DGR.
