Location: Kampala, Uganda, Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• Responsible for the civil! structural design, construction and coordination of the Albert Lake site.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for civil/structural design documents and following all relevant laws , regulatory requirements to meet the expectations of the company;
• Responsible for the supervision and inspection of the implementation of project schedule, quality, cost and safety.
• Provide technical support to ensure that all civil/structural design and construction meet the oil and gas development code and standard requirements.
• Review and check contractor’s design document, construction plan to ensure that they meet project requirements.
• Review the engineering program for oil field development including pipe rack and equipment module;
• Responsible for reviewing the civil/ structural design basis, technical schemes and standards used in engineering.
• Responsible for coordinating the interfaces between other disciplines.
• Responsible for the review and improvement of the civil/structural documents and drawings;
• Responsible for supporting the construction, installation, commissioning and production stages.
• Responsible for ensuring that the construction activities follow HSE requirements.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil engineering or the related.
• At least 15-years progressive working experience in an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) environment and at least 8-years in oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical industrial engineering experiences
• Oil and gas, refinery or large scale petrochemical plant construction management experience is an asset
• With large oil tank and pressure vessel foundation work experiences Pipe rack and equipment module design and erection work experience is preferred
• With static and dynamic equipment foundation analysis and design work experience
• Road, retaining wall and drainage and site preparation work experience is essential
• Concrete and steel structural design and construction work experience is essential

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of the criteria, procedure and software of the discipline. Good skills of the office software and Auto CAD. Understanding oil and gas engineering, reservoir, drilling and completion, production, etc.
