Chief Development Geology Manager – Geology & Reservoir Project team
Location: Kampala, Uganda,
Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
• To be responsible for the geological research work of the exploratory development areas, including the project general arrangement and technical method planning general research plan composing, new well geological design, welldrilling performance tracking and the organization of the composition in the potential capacity adjustment plan etc.

Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the planning of the project general arrangement and technical method, make the general research plan, the project operation plan and the annual targets and coordinate the research work. Be responsible for the oil field geological research work as in the deep research in the structure and the reservoir bed. Be responsible for development well geological work related, organizing demonstrations in the new well locations, well-drilling performance tracking and composing the adjustment
Be responsible for development well geological work related, organizing demonstrations in the new well locations, well-drilling performance tracking and composing the adjustment proposals.
• Be responsible for oil field reserve calculation and evaluation.
• Organize the oil field development materials acquisition, collection and analysis and compose the potential capacity adjustment plan.
Master the advanced methodology in the field geological research and field development.
• Analyze regularly and solve different problems occurred in the field development. Be responsible for the update of the various geological atlas as the structure map, sand isopach map, reservoir section etc.

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or above in Geology, Petroleum development geology or related.
At least 10 years of the related working experience in similar role in oil and gas industry.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge about integrate development geology research methodology.
• Knowledge about geology geophysics and petrophysics etc.
• Master the integrate project research work process in development.
• Mastery use of the advanced software.
