Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• Responsible for the geological research work of the exploratory development areas, including the project general arrangement and technical method planning , general research plan composing, new well geological design, well
• drilling performance tracking and the organization of the composition in the potential capacity adjustment plan etc.

Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the planning of the project general arrangement and technical method, make the general research plan, the project operation plan and the annual targets and coordinate the research work.
• Responsible for the oil field geological research work as in the deep research in the structure and the reservoir bed, the organization of the demonstration in the new well location, well-drilling performance tracking and composition as well as the adjustment proposals.
• Organize the oil field development materials’ acquisition, collection and analysis and compose the potential capacity adjustment plan.
• Master the advanced methodology in the field geological research and field development at home and abroad, introduce to and guide the subordinates to create new technology, techniques and methodologies.
• Analyze regularly and solve the different problems that would occur in the field exploratory development as in the production design and feedback about the inefficiency and high consumption in the production procedure.
• Be responsible for updating of the various geological atlas as the structure map, sand isopach map, reservoir section etc.
• Perform other work related assigned by the Superior.

Requirements
• Master degree and above in Geology, Petroleum exploratory l development or related.
• At least 8 years of the related working experience.

Knowledge
• knowledge about integrate exploration project research methodology
• knowledge about geology, geophysical exploration and the related well testing
• Master the integrate project research work process in exploration and development
• Master the use of the advanced software.
