Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Airline Transport Pilot License; or a Commercial Pilots License with Instrument Rating and a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License.

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years relevant working experience, three of which should have been served at the level of Principal Ground Instructor in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable Organization.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Director, East African Civil Aviation Academy, Soroti for performing the following duties:-
1. Carrying out day to day administration of the Engineering School;
Designing, developing and ensuring implementation of the syllabus and instructional programmes of the Engineering School, in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority approved courses;
3. Assessing and determining the adequacy and efficiency of the teaching aids, tools and equipment for pilot training;
4. Initiating development plans for the Ground School for consideration by the Academic Registrar (Head of Training);
5. Preparing estimates of expenditure and procurement plans for the Ground School;
6. Ensuring proper management and utilization of department resources;
7. Representing the school at meetings on Ground Instructions;
8. Setting and reviewing pilot ground school examinations;
9. Evaluating applicants for eligibility for admission;
10. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
