Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities it required.

Primary function
• To be responsible for the instrumentation engineering in the oil field project

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the instrumentation engineering in oil field development.
• Responsible for the instrumentation design basis, technical schemes and standards used in engineering.
• Responsible for the interfaces between other disciplines.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving of the instrumentation documents and drawings;
• Responsible for the instrumentation topics studies;
• Provide technical service and support to construction, installation, commissioning and production stages.
• To troubleshoot control systems and operability issues and give technical solutions.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in instrumentation engineering or related.
• At least 12 years related working experience in oil & gas field including 8-year experience in engineering design or instrument operational experience in at least two oil & gas projects. International working experience is preferred.
• EPC work experience is required.

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of the control scheme such as topological graphics and SCADA etc.
• Familiar with the principle of field instruments and commissioning activity
• Understanding oil engineering, reservoir, drilling and completion, production, etc.
• Familiar with the Technical knowledge of process in oil &gas field.
