Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• Responsible for the design, construction and coordination of the piping engineering in the Lake Albert site.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for piping design documents and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulatory requirements to meet the expectations of the company.
• Responsible for the supervision and inspection of the implementation of piping projects;
• Provide technical support to ensure that all piping requirements are met;
• Responsible for the piping engineering program in oil field development including module;
• Responsible for the piping design basis, technical schemes and standards used in engineering.
• Responsible for the interfaces between other disciplines.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving of the piping documents and drawings;
• Responsible for construction, installation, commissioning and production stages.
• Overall responsibility for the coordination management with other disciplines;
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum, chemical or mechanical engineering or the related.
• At least 12-year related working experience in Oil & Gas industry including 6-year experience in engineering design. International working experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in an EPC environment is required.

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of the criteria, procedure and software of the discipline.
• Have a high level of engineering and technology, particularly in the oil and gas industry with the means for rotating equipment, pipes, containers, tanks and other related knowledge, familiar with the manufacturing process and quality control of piping engineering.
• Good skills of the office software and Auto CAD.
• Understanding oil-engineering, production, etc.
