Job Summary:
To provide effective training, instruction and assessment of certificate students in the classroom, hospitals, health centers and communities.

Job Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and organize materials for practical training lessons.
• Prepare and conduct tutorial lessons /classes for trainees.
• Participate in providing an orientation for the students to the practicum sites. Participate in setting, administering and assessing trainees’ performance in classroom and clinical examinations.
• Monitor student progress to ensure stated objectives are adequately addressed and met.
• Assess student competence to identify strengths and address weaknesses. . Communicate with the Head of Department any concerns or questions regarding student progress as soon as issues arise.
• Maintain and ensure proper use of inventory and equipment.
• Guide and counsel trainees/students.
• Participate in co-curricular activities and community activities.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the relevant authority.

Qualifications
• A minimum of a diploma in Midwifery or any other related courses.
• Experience: A minimum of six months of experience.
