Job Description


The Communications Manager is in charge of overseeing all aspects of Communications, in order to meet the needs of a constantly evolving organization. The Communications Manager provides leadership to the Communications Department at Alld and provides mentorship and oversight to the Communications Staff Team. In this position, the Communications Manager is expected to provide overall leadership in internal and external Communications. This position particularly requires a strong writer, editor, and analytical mind that will develop high-quality content for AllJ’s external communications including daily administration of the digital communication channels.
This is a dynamic position that includes fundraising. development, and communications responsibilities with a strong connection to Alld’s programmatic work and mission. In addition, the Communications Manager is responsible for creating and managing content for internal communications, executing Alld’s internal corporate communications strategy. supporting a well-informed workforce, and nurturing a dynamic internal culture. This is a highly engaging job that requires multi-tasking capabilities, and capacities to research, write and lead a team. The All Communications Manager works collaboratively with other Managers and teams in driving the achievement of the organizational program results through People.

Main Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the Development of Communications Policies, Guidelines, and Operating Procedures
• Development of the All Communications and Strategy Spearhead the implementation of the All) Communications
• Provide Oversight to Internal All Communications
• Manage the All Intranet
• Provide oversight to All) External Communications
• Undertake Media Monitoring
• Oversee All Public Relations Management
• Managing All Print and Electronic Media Presence
• Managing All Digital and Social Media Presence
• Oversee the Production of All Videos, Graphics, and Photos

Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic;
• A degree in communications, journalism, mass communication, or public relations-a master’s degree is an added advantage.
• experience;
• At least 3 years of working as a communications officer/manager.

Core Competencies.
• high level of communications skills,
• Ability to speak at least four languages fluently
• Ability to work under minimum pressure.
• Editing skills and camera work are an added advantage
