Job Description
About US:
A Global Healthcare Public Foundation (AGHPF) is a Ugandan Registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with offices in Kampala, Uganda. The Foundation has been in operations for over 18 years carrying out most of its work in Sub Saharan Africa.
Job Summary:
The Communications Officer will be responsible for the organisation’s communication both internally and externally.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing all communication to interested parties.
- Managing all Media platforms and engagements.
- Responsible for all documentaries of the Foundation’s work to include videography and photography
- Responsible for all Foundation publications from creation to print.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in communication related field
- Previous experience working on USG funded projects is added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in providing administrative support to executives and/ or senior management teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills; communicates sensitively, effectively and creatively on relevant issues.
- Demonstrated writing experience.
- Proficiency in design and publishing software.
- Experience in website and social media management
- Demonstrated writing experience.

- Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive attitude
