Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: Create detailed 2D and 3D models; produce accurate CAD drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.
2. Design Analysis: Analyze designs for functionality, performance, and manufacturability.
3. Collaboration: Work with project managers, design consultants, and subcontractors to produce and alter drawings.
4. Design Optimization: Refine designs to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability.
5. Print CAD drawings in various formats and deliver them promptly.
6. Provide support in the design process, creating sketches and managing changes.
7. Review and check drawings for errors before submission.
8. Print drawing sets for project managers and site superintendents.
9. Organize and upload drawings to web-based storage/collaboration sites.
10. Create, edit, and update standard details for projects.

• Educational Background and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a CAD engineering role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience with industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for 2D and 3D drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and architectural standards.
• Proficiency in additional design software relevant to construction.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site work, and technical drawing standards.
