Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• Responsible for cost control during the project phases.

Responsibilities
• Execute all cost management aspects of the project.
• Organize and prepare regular reports, including monthly and annual cost reports, annual investment report, etc.
• Perform cost estimation and analysis of the plans of the project.
• Review and approve the control procedures provided by contractors.
• Collect and analyze the budget and the cost, review and check the changed cost estimation.
• Provide accurate and timely project cost reports, verifying cost performance against plan, and identifying areas of potential budget overrun and implementing corrective actions.
• Responsible for dynamic tracking of the cost and the budget of the project.
• Establish the cost filing system and database.
• Produce and maintain annual budget cost estimates submitted for annual work program.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, project management, finance or related field.
• At least 12-year related working experience. Previous experience in EPC is required.

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of advanced international project management.
• Extensive knowledge of finance.
• Knowledge of the procedures of project and petroleum engineering technology.
• Understanding off/onshore oil engineering, reservoir, drilling and completion, production, etc.
• Good understanding of project accounting and cost control international project management.
