Your tasks
• They continue to develop the state strategy and the ZFD state program of AGIAMONDO in dialogue with the local church and partner organizations .
• They plan new partner cooperations, clarify personnel requirements and prepare the application for projects and the reporting to the BMZ.
• You are responsible for the annual financial planning of the state program and control the use of funds.
• They actively network the partner organizations involved in the program and promote cooperation and exchange with other relevant national and international organizations and actors.
• They accompany the ZFD specialists and partner organizations in life and work on site. They travel regularly, sometimes several times a year, to the respective project locations
• You will work in a network with the coordinators of other ZFD providers on the joint orientation of the ZFD in Uganda and bring AGIAMONDO’s ZFD into it with its own profile.

• You have completed a university degree , preferably in a social sciences or humanities subject. A peace-related qualification is an advantage.
• You have several years of professional experience in development cooperation or peace work in the Global South, which you have preferably acquired in church or civil society organizations.
• You have consulting skills and in-depth knowledge of program and project management , which also includes resource management and experience with budget responsibility.
• They have knowledge and experience in the areas of peace and reconciliation work . Knowledge and interest in supporting dialogue processes and/or working on resource conflicts is an advantage.
• You have diplomatic skills , strong skills in intercultural, partnership-based dealings with the actors and can act appropriately in a church and generally in a religious environment.
• They identify themselves with the church profile of AGIAMONDO and convincingly support the goals and concerns of church development cooperation.
• You have very good knowledge of English and speak very good German . You are willing to travel on business, sometimes lasting several days, within and outside of Uganda.
• You are an EU citizen or Swiss citizen and belong to a Christian church .
