Job Description


TPO Uganda is a local Ugandan NGO that has been operating in the country for 25 years. Our programs comprise interventions organised around the following themes; Care and protection of OVC; child protection, livelihoods support, mental health and psychosocial support response and prevention of all forms of violence against women and children as well as emergency response and humanitarian action. TPO Uganda is active in 33 districts in the region and is a member of several partnerships and coordination mechanisms in the country.
TPO Uganda is now seeking person with USAID work experience for the following positions for its USAID-Keeping Children Healthy and Safe (KCHS) Activity. All positions will be based in our Mbarara regional offices and candidates must be willing and ready to live and world region
Position: Data Manager
Reporting to: M & E Specialist
Location: Mbarara .

Data Manager will be responsible for the M&E function of keeping Children Healthy and Safe (KCHS) Activity at the regional office level coordinating at least 6 districts in Western Uganda including: Mbarara, Rwampara, Isingiro, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, and Rukungiri.. He/She will be responsible for ensuring timely data collection, entry, analysis and generation of accurate reports using the recommended formats. He/She will provide support to M&E Officers and other KCHS staff including social workers, Parasocial workers to ensure appropriate tools are readily available and used to collect reliable data for tracking progress and project impact

Person Specifications: The holder should possess a bachelor’s degree in statistics and demography, public health or a diploma in M&E from a recognized institution and relevant work experience of managing data and reporting of NGOs community-based children and adolescent health projects specifically HIV/AIDS, livelihoods and child protection is required. Experience ii online reporting working with HIMS, OVCMIS and Local Governments reporting systems are added advantages.
