The global health security program at Baylor Uganda works closely with the Ministry of Health, other MDAs, District local governments, and collaborating partners to improve Health Security and Build International Health Regulations Core Capacities in prevention, detection and response to public health threats. The program seeks to engage and maintain a pool of deployable surge volunteers in various temporary assignments and locations across a range of thematic areas to enrich careers while contributing to the Global Health Security Agenda.

Overall Responsibilities
• Under the overall guidance of the M&E manager and working closely with MoH/ government of Uganda counterparts and collaborating partners, the surge volunteer provides day-to-day technical support in records management, data collection/reporting, entry, cleaning, basic analysis and dissemination/use. S/he will establish/maintain collaborative networks involving local, subnational and national stakeholders and liaise with other programs and departments.

Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Demography, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, or Data Science related field.
• 2 Years Relevant Experience
