Misiunea Speranta for Uganda is a faith-based non-governmental organization that commenced its operations in Uganda in 2015. Our headquarters are situated in Rubuguri Town Council within the Bukimbiri Constituency. We are dedicated to providing essential support to vulnerable children and other disadvantaged individuals residing in Rubuguri and the neighboring communities. Additionally, our organization operates a fully functional clinic that delivers a wide range of healthcare services to the residents of Rubuguri and its surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
• Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals and filling cavities.
• Complete referrals, data collections instruments and other records or documents as required
• Dental Implant case diagnosis, treatment and long term follow up
• Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.
• Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.
• Applying helpful agents to teeth such as sealants or whiteners.
• Prescribing medications for dental problems such as pain medications or antibiotics.
• Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.
• Using tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth.
• Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Applicants should have at least a diploma of Dental Surgery, registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council and a Valid License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to keep detailed records.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and diagnostics.
• Good management skills.
• Ability to speak local language
• Flexibility to work long hours which may occasionally extend beyond normal working hours in order to complete critical tasks.
