The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of Water and Energy solutions in the region. The group operates through a network of branches in various cities in Uganda namely Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja, Gulu, Mbale, Arua and Mukono. We are looking for a qualified, high-powered, and talented professional to fill the position.

The main roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
• Drive the planned expansion of the Distribution network.
• Collaborate with all other departmental heads to ensure company objectives are met.
• Identify and implement strategies aimed at driving sales revenue and fostering overall departmental growth.
• Carryout regular market research and analysis.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of Regional Distribution Sales Representatives (DSRs).
• Prepare and submit regular activity reports to management in a timely manner.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time) to conduct sales calls in various regions of the country.
• Coordinate Head office and branch marketing activities.
• Work with sales department to execute customer focused brand campaigns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing events, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Any other task deemed necessary to accomplish the above.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• A minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in Sales & Marketing or any related field from reputable university.
• A minimum of four years of experience in distribution sales and managing sales representatives, with a strong drive to achieve set targets.
• Between 25 and 40years of age.
• Excellent written and spoken English, good interpersonal, presentation and commercial skills.
• Good computer skills including MS suite.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, high integrity and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Valid driving License.
• Knowledge and experience in digital marketing as well as membership in relevant professional bodies will be added advantage.
