Job Description


McDermott, a premier, fully-integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry is looking for Construction and Project support personnel. Successful candidates must have 10 or more years of relevant experience and recognized expertise in large international onshore/offshore oil and gas projects with at least 5 years of supervisory experience. The working environment is multicultural and demands considerable experience in the project process working with International Clients and Contractors. Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English.

Construction General Superintendent, Construction E&I Superintendent and Construction Civil / Structural / Arch Superintendent
• Organization and direction of construction activities, ensure compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all Project Design Documentation, with Company Standards and Procedures, and with applicable international Codes, Standards and Practices.
• Liaison with Construction Manager to monitor progress and prepare performance reports.
• High focus on safely and familiarity with planning & scheduling systems Working knowledge of shutdown, maintenance, and startup of industrial facilities

E&I Inspector and Piping Quality Inspectors
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Electrical and Instrumentation Quality inspection requirements . Interpretation of applicable code specifications and customer requirements
• Appraise product quality in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan and Scope of work and determine conformity and non-conformity. All inspection results need to be documented and if non-conformity exists, documentation shall be raised to establish corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure that changes on project specification as approved by Clients through SQ/TQ’s and Concession Request are implemented and latest Revision of ITP/ Procedures are followed
• Perform surveillance checks on Electrical, Instrument, Telecom equipment’s and materials Storage and preservation in construction site . Familiar with relevant Code & Standard e.g. NEC (NFPA 70), API-14F, API-550, API-14C, IEC, IEEE
• Degree or trade certification, CompEX Electrical EX01-04 Certified
• 3 year Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering degree/Diploma or equivalent
