JOB SUMMARY
The job-holder is responsible for improving plant performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability by executing predictive and planned maintenance work programs and promptly attending to breakdowns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute preventive and condition-based maintenance programs
• Execute calibration and testing of the site equipment
• Carry out on the run inspections and pro-acts to mitigate un-anticipated breakdowns
• Maintain a high level of equipment cleanliness and safety
• Promptly attend to breakdowns
• Participate in planning and ensuring effective spares’ management
• Contribute to maintenance standards and procedures
• Contributes to and performs process improvements, provides support and enhances Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS)
• Observe high safety standards as stipulated in the issued safety rules
• Works towards achieving reduced “mean time to repair” increase “mean time before failure” and improved “overall equipment effectiveness
• Exercise prudence in use of the spares, tools and any other company material
• Contributes to energy efficiency and optimization plans

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• The potential candidate must be knowledgeable in EOHS practices and possess good skills in interpreting electrical schemes. He or she must have good analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. The potential candidate must be a team player who is agile as well as flexible.
