Main Purpose of the Post
The EI&T Project Manager will lead the EI&T team, overseeing all aspects of the electrical, instrumentation and telecom installation from start to finish.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver preparatory meetings before construction on site begins.
• Oversee the development of the project plans, procurement of materials and plant & equipment.
• Assess the resource requirement and mobilize labor and supervision following the project plans.
• Ensure that methods of work are up to date, efficient and comply with company and client safety policies and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues on site.
• Ensure construction/installation keeps to budget plan.
• Investigate and account for any deviations from budget man-hours.
• Ensure construction organization is adequate, that staff at all levels understand their role and responsibilities and that effective delegation occurs.
• Assist with and coordinate the project design and constructability.
• Managing project health and safety with support from the HSE Manager. Prepare technical and financial proposals with the Commercial Manager Maintain project cost control and reporting.
• Prepare and administer subcontracts in conjunction with the project commercial manager and contract administrator.
• Advise the Business Unit Manager as requested on any desirable changes in methods of work or on work practice and control.

Qualifications:
• University degree or national higher diploma in electrical engineering. 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in large-scale international electrical and instrumentation construction projects, of which at least 5 years should be in large-scale oil and gas projects.
• Proven track record of successful large-scale El&T project delivery, with contactable references.
• Good contractual knowledge, project controls, estimating, planning, scheduling, and tendering.
