Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for the project and ensuring mitigation measures are implemented.
- Providing on-the-job training and coaching to local content personnel.
- Implementing and communicating safe work practices per Company QEHS Policy and HSEQ Manuals.
- Engaging and communicating HSE roles & responsibilities to project leadership and staff.
- Ensuring cross-functional coordination on HSE matters.
- Ensuring HSE systems comply with project, company, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and updating Risk Assessments, HSE procedures, and documentation (Safe Work Method Statement, ESMP, Permit to Work System, SOPs, SEA).
- Performing HSE compliance inspections, audits, and surveillance reviews.
- Monitoring, managing, and reporting on HSE activities of all project activities.
- Expediting field reporting on construction progress against HSE KPIs.
- Maintaining databases and records for HSE systems and compliance audits.
- Acting as lead representative for presenting HSE systems to auditors.
- Delivering site HSE moments/Safety Greenlight (Toolbox Talks, Job Safety Analysis).
- Spearheading Incident Reporting and Investigation processes and communicating findings.
- Attending project meetings to verify HSE metrics and KPIs.
- Performing inspections of equipment/materials/installations for HSE compliance.
- Mentoring exemplary behavior regarding HSE culture, ethics, and company “Code of Conduct” policy.

- Educational Background and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related disciplines.
- Relevant certifications like CSP or NEBOSH are preferred.
- Ability to work in harsh and diverse environments.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations.
- Collaborative teamwork and a passion for sustainability and conservation.
