Job Description
Title: Finance and Administration Lead
Reporting Structure: Finance and Admin report to the Team Lead.
Position Overview:
As the Finance and Administration Lead, you will be instrumental in overseeing our organization’s financial operations and administrative functions. This dynamic role necessitates a finance professional with expertise in financial planning, analysis, strategic decision-making, as well as proficiency in managing invoicing, collections, cost management, and runway analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Strategy, Reporting and Planning:
• Develop and execute budgets and financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals for long-term financial sustainability.
Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. .
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow effectively, optimizing the use of financial resources for operational needs.
• Monitor and extend the runway by implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks and improve cash flow efficiency.
• Payroll, Invoicing, Collections, and Costing:
• Manage payroll process, guaranteeing accuracy and timely disbursement of payments.
• Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
• Implement effective collections strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.
• Work closely with department heads to accurately cost services and products.
• Team Leadership and Administration:
• Manage administrative functions, including office management, procurement, and vendor management.
• Work closely with department Leads to create and manage scorecards for performance evaluation across departments, fostering a culture of accountability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification CPA level 2 is a plus.
• Proven 2 years of experience in financial management, with a track record of success in strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial management and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
