Job Title: Finance Manager Business Planning & Analysis
Reports To: Chief Finance Officer
Role purpose
The purpose of this job is to manage the bank’s business planning and analysis cycles including monthly/quarterly reporting to business partners/senior managers and the board of directors; to assist in developing the annual budget and regular forecast updates; and to act as a key interface with business stakeholders (MD &CBO) to take insights, learnings, and results in order to improve department, business, and company financial performance.
Prepare the Business Plan and forecasts as well as monitor company performance and business environment; interpret data concerning customers, channels, competition, and the macro-environment into relevant, accurate and usable strategic knowledge.
Manage team resources to design and develop reports in formats useful for all stakeholders. Directly support the Chief Finance Officer in Running of the unit. The position requires proactive communication with all data users to continuously improve outputs (financial reports, variance analysis, tracked metrics, etc.)

Key result areas/ deliverables
• Prepare the Business Plan, forecasts and revenue modelling to assist is setting the Business targets
• Set up a robust and timely performance reporting framework.
• Manage budgeting/forecasting cycles including gaining input and consensus from business stakeholders, and then prepare outputs for review and approval
Lead cross-functional analytics collaboration to integrate data sets and drive strategic decisions.
• Manage, compile, analyze and drive monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
• Identify and monitor external and internal factors that may affect business performance to provide ideas and intellectual leadership for both short-term tactics and long-term positioning and vision
• Establish performance indicators and success metrics for proposed and existing initiatives, products, and/or services.
Proactively identify opportunities where analysis can drive valuable business results.
• Work together with the business to ensure we are enabling data-driven decision making on the most important business questions
• Work with MIS Strategy and Business Partners to ensure proper design and completion of tool build.
• Lead / manage a portfolio of projects in support of business’s supervision, Board and other senior management reporting and analysis including creating new standard reports
• Develop and implement new dashboards and models to project long-term growth.
• Support the Datawarehouse implementation through interpretation of finance & business requirements in the projects.
• Build strong partnership with Finance leadership team planning teams for other segments.
Consult with Chief Operating Officer, other department management, and their support teams to understand management information needs.
• Train stakeholders throughout the business to improve data fluency.

• Education and training
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Quantitative Economics, Business
• Computing, Computer Science
• The suitable candidate should be a Professional Accountant with certification like ACCA , CPA.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI
• Possession of a Postgraduate qualification (Masters or PostGraduate Diploma) is an added advantage in a relevant field.

• Skills and experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in Business/Financial reporting and analysis.
• Prior experience in Business Intelligence for Banks is desirable
Experience in Team Management, Change Management and Business Analysis
• Experience and a high capacity in managing multiple problems and assignments at the same time and delivering high quality outputs
