Position & Grade: Fleet Supervisor Logistics Operation
Reports to: Transport & Logistics Manager
Summary Role:
This position is responsible for excellent execution, direction, and coordination of all inbound and outbound logistical matters within the Movit Products Ltd.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
● Manage the movement of the fleet through appropriate systems.
● Managing the logistic service provider performance.
● Schedule shipments and deliveries.
● Examine and analyses recorded data and advise management.
● Investigate all incidents and report to management in accordance with established processes.
● Maintain communications with transporters, suppliers, distributors and others parties involved in the shipping and delivery of company items.
● Work hand in hand with the maintenance team to ensure health and safety of the company fleet.
● Ensure that operators and drivers comply with all relevant regulations.
● Attend weekly logistic meetings with other stakeholders.
● Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
● Monitor and report cargo in transit status.
● Prepare weekly reports detailing delivery status and route costs.
● Maintain accurate records and files for deliveries made.
● Assist with logistical budget preparation and administration.
● Implement the Movit Eagle way by executing your duties in line with Quality, Speed, Cost, Safety and People in order to establish the basis for Effective Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement and Innovation; and
● Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor. Working Relationship and work Environment:
● Working with the entire staff and departments in Movit Products Limited;
● Maintain good relations with key associates and company external stakeholders;
● Office based and ability to manage urgent demands;
● Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and versatility;

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
● The ideal candidate for this position should hold minimum a degree in transport & logistics or any relevant field;
● Professional certificate in Supply chain management as added advantage
● A Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in logistics supervisory role
● Able to operate effectively in a high-volume service driven transport operation.
● Possessing a good understanding of all relevant legal compliance and fleet controls.
● Full understanding of transport operational systems.
● People management skills.

● Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
● Tracking the progress of shipments.
● Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems.
