4. Geologist
Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function
• To carry out the geology study and geology operations of development wells under the supervision of the Senior Petroleum Development Geologist.
• Responsible for geological technology in the stage of oil field development.
• Assist lead geologist and the team.

Responsibilities
• Geological technical supporting and research.
• Participate in development well plan.
• Analysis of geology engineering data (static and dynamic) in order to obtain updates on geology characteristics and parameters, which will be used for updating geology models.
• Geology dynamic data synthesis for the field.
• Geology models building and updating.
• Making FDP and the technical policies, providing requirements and suggestion, and track the implementation.
• Dynamically track the geology operation, submitting the research result and the recommendation report to the leaders.
• Other duties assigned by leaders.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum, geology or related.
• Minimum 3 years’ previous experience, including at least 3 years in Oil & Gas. Knowledge
• Good knowledge of geological research methods and technology.
• Knowledge of seismic, exploration, well logging and development.
• Knowledge of drilling, engineering and economic evaluation.
• Understanding of petroleum policy and laws.
