Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognized household brand within Uganda. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken Brand.
Position Title: Out-Grower Manager
Location: Mukono District
Reports to: Operations Manager – Broilers

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Weekly Out-Grower farm visits accompanied by written report of each visit with recommendations and action plan.
• Oversee and monitor vaccination procedure/program or Health program and regular review to ensure adherence to the program, its application and development.
Ensure flock health and Bio-security, through set SOPs that support Out-Growers.
• Provide support in development, review and implementation of the Out-Grower SOPS
• Provide timeous feedback to Management regarding challenges, concerns and general performance to ensure a proactive approach

Qualifications, skills and competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Animal Production, Animal Husbandry or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience in Poultry
• Knowledge of poultry farming
• Reporting and organization skills
