Our mission is to enable upward social mobility for people in diverse communities around the world by providing entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking systems, access to credit. By combining asset financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals, MOGO Kenya enables these local entrepreneurs (motorcycle taxi riders, Uber/Bolt drivers, and small business owners) to find and purchase their own vehicle.

We are looking for a Head of Business Operations to lead various business units such as loan disbursement & loan administration, underwriting, GPS tracking, and customer support.

What you will do:
• Be responsible for strategic/operational/tactical decisions across multiple business units (loan disbursement & administration, underwriting, GPS tracking, and customer support)
• Ensure coordinated daily operations by managing, motivating, and training a team of 100+ employees
• Work closely with Business Analysts & IT teams to implement automated processes and result tracking in our proprietary ERP system
• Monitor and analyze results. Make timely data-driven decisions

What you will need:
• At least 4 years of previous experience in operations/project management, business administration, consulting, finance, or similar position
• University degree in Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar field
• Hands-on approach and “getting things done” mindset
• Performance-orientated business thinking & analytical mindset
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to relocate to Kampala, Uganda
