Job Description


Reporting to the HR & Admin. Officer, the HR & Admin. Volunteer is responsible for providing support for day-to-day administrative requirements, functions and general office management of the IRC Kampala office.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support in creation of new staff personal files.
  • Support recruitment exercise including sorting, long and shortlisting of applications.
  • Supporting in drafting interview reports.
  • Updating the existing personal files and ensuring they have the necessary information.
  • Organizing the whole filing system according to staff T7s.
  • Assisting in stamping all HR related documents.
  • General organization of HR Office documents/paperwork.
  • Support in induction processes.
  • Any other official duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knack for detail.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills especially in MS excel and word.
