Job Description


Tasks and responsibilities
• Provide operational support to the HR unit and assist in various HR functions.
• Ensure smooth coordination of HR activities and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitor and manage HR-related inboxes, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and forwarding messages to the appropriate individuals or offices.
• Track and monitor the completion of HR tasks and activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and reporting any delays or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, and other relevant documentation.
• Update and maintain HR databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare HR-related correspondence, including letters, memos, and reports, as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support the coordination of HR-related meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including scheduling, logistics coordination, and preparation of materials.
• Support the recruitment cycle of all type of employees.
• Assist in the management of employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, coordinating orientations, and exit procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Stay updated on relevant HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to staff and stakeholders.
• Perform other HR related duties as requested by HR Officer.

CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING
Minimum Requirements
• University degree in Human Resources, Management, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Public or Business Administration or another relevant field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and Administration.
• Working knowledge (level C) of English and limited knowledge (level B) of one of the other FAO languages for Consultants. Working knowledge (level C) of English is required for PSAs.
