Uganda Young Positives (UYP) is a non-governmental organization that was Found in 2023 as an organization of young people living with HIV, with a mission to scale up prevention, care and support services. The organization works to reduce stigma and discrimination, and to build capacity for young people living with HIV through advocacy and service delivery. The target population is 10-24 years and young adults of 25-35 years. UYP has a niche in targeting Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM) in programming.

Over the years, UYP has built strong partnerships with United Nations Joint AIDS Program (UNAIDs), International Community of Women Living with HIV Eastern Africa (ICWEA), National Forum of PLHA Networks in Uganda (NAFOPHANU), The AIDS Support Organization (TASO), Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), Men Engage Uganda (MEU) and Uganda Harm Reduction Network (UHRN) among others. As well as with key donors such as the United Nations Joint AIDS Program(UNAIDs), Centres for Disease Control (CDC), Women Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) USAID, Aids Fonds and the Global Fund. UYP is a member of different platforms like the Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund (CCM), Boys For Change (Mbula Kalevu) workforce and Community Led Monitoring (CLM) steering committee to mention a few. The organization has a team of 6 dedicated staff.

Additionally, UYP has implemented a number of activities that have supported HIV programing through case identification, HIV prevention, linkage and retention.

UYP is currently looking for a full time Programs Manger who will be responsible for UYP Programme Development, Implementation and Resource Mobilization (PD&RM) activities and supervision of assigned staff (Technical Assistants, Interns, Volunteers and Consultants).
