Key Roles
• Generate audit charter, Internal Audit annual work plans, Internal Audit policies, and procedure manuals.
• Managing and coordinating the Yako Bank Audit Function and ensuring there is effective communication between the Audit and all other stakeholders.
• Preparing and submitting Internal Audit reports to Board and management.
• Evaluating and reviewing the Financial, Accounting, and Operational performance of the institution and all the departments, functions, and advice on improvements
• Carrying out special Audit assignments.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certified
• Proven working experience as Internal Auditor/ Audit manager
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, regulations and best practices.
• Proven knowledge of financial sector regulations and industry trends
• High attention to detail, excellent analytical and planning skills, and sound independent judgment
• Knowledge of Accounting, various core banking, HR, and Payroll applications
• Previous experience working in the banking sector.
