Job Description
To carry out high-quality visual and audio investigations for both television and radio within set timelines.
Main Responsibilities:
• Please note that only shortlisted candidates with be contacted.
• Carrying out high-quality investigations.
• Pitching investigative story ideas.
• Scripting and voicing of investigations.
• Assemble, prepare and set up equipment for filming which includes tripods, monitors,
• lighting, cables, and headphones.
• Take and understand instructions from the sight director and producer.
• Keeping up to date with new investigative skills and techniques.
• Multi-tasking
Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic;Mission: Growing investigative journalism in Africa through an integrated programme of training, collaborative reporting, research and grant making.
• Degree in journalism and mass communication,
• Degree in Arts, film/ Broadcast journalism, or any related course.
• Experience;
• At least 2 years of working as an investigative journalist in a media organization.
• Demonstrate the ability to be creative and innovative.
Deep familiarity with all aspects of TV production including technical processes of pre-during and postproduction.

• Ability to speak at least four languages fluently
• Ability to work under minimum pressure.

• Ability to work long and odd hours in a fast-paced environment
• Editing skills and camera work are an added advantage
