Job Description


Quality Plastics (U) LTD is hiring a self driven and innovative ISO Management Systems Assistant who will play a crucial role in ensuring that an organization complies with health, safety, environmental, and international standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the establishment, implementation, maintenance and updating of the ISO and Food safety management systems requirements in the organization.
Monitor performance of the processes that affect the systems conformity to requirements and ensure processes deliver their intended results.
• Carry out regular checks and follow up to confirm the performance of the system processes and maintain documented information of the findings.
Report to the ISO Systems Coordinator and Manager on the performance, shortfalls of the implemented systems and give recommendations on opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in ensuring that all changes made in the implemented systems are properly and clearly communicated to the rest of the staff and are understood as required.
• Assist in organizing internal audits at planned intervals and ensuring that documented information is maintained as per standard requirements
• Help the audit team understand their role during auditing and ensure that they meet the systems documentation requirements
• Assist in the design, development and implementation of the new changes in the standards i.e. ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018, NEMA, UNBS etc. to bring about improvement and compliance to standard requirements.
• Effectively communicate to relevant staff, issues concerning with occupational Health and safety, environmental monitoring etc. within the organization.
• Assist in ensuring that documents are generated at all levels within the organization to provide evidence of conformity to systems/standard requirements.
• Assist in identifying and establishing new systems that would be beneficial to the company.
• To always uphold the integrity of the company
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Requirements
• A Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Proven work experience of at least 1 to 2 years.
• Knowledge in ISO, FSSC 22000, NEMA, UNBS, etc.
• Computer literate and ability to use computer programmes i.e. Microsoft word, excel & Power point.
• Working experience in a manufacturing set up will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills, proactive thinking with an enthusiastic character towards work.
• A good team player with a high level of integrity
• Good planning and organizational skills
