An ideal candidate for our programming intern position will have a background in programming at the university level. While we do not expect you to be proficient in a particular programming language, you must have some familiarity with popular programming languages eg python. We seek an intern with a passion for programming, but also a desire to serve as a member of a team. We aim to achieve optimal outcomes.

Role/Purpose
To support in all IT duties around the firm.

Main Responsibilities
• Help the existing programming team with planning and executing programming objectives.
• Convert the requirements of project plans into proficient code.
• Analyze requirements to identify optimal execution strategies.
• Assist senior programmers in their work duties.
• Maintain a positive, teachable attitude throughout the internship.

Requirements
• Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
• University-level programming coursework.
• Punctuality and attentiveness.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python or react is an added advantage.
