On behalf of our Client in the Extractives sector, we are looking for (a) competent individual(s) to fill the following position:
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
Job Title: Junior Cost Controller
Reports to: Senior Cost Controller
Direction: Finance
Location: Kampala

ACTIVITIES
At all times the job holder will:
• Reporting to the Senior Cost Controller, assist in checking all cost related data and their input in cost control system.
• Participate to the Project Budget preparation
• Assist in the preparation of Cost Control reports.
• Participate to Monitoring and Control of the Project expenditures.
• Assist in the control and input the commitments data. (Invoices)
• Assistance to cost trends analysis.
• File the cost control documents according to the document filing system.
• Collecting and process all Time sheets, Travel expenses data and documents relating to the team members and contractors.
• Register the project invoices in the project cost control system.
• Other Ad hoc tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualification:
• A technical degree or degree in accounting, finance or business-related courses.

Experience:
• 2+ years of relevant cost control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment would be considered an asset.
• Knowledge & experience in use of relevant computer systems (SAP, PIMS or other information management system, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
