DEPARTMENT TRAINING
Post: Librarian (1)
Reports to: Head of Training
Salary Scale: UHTTI 4Upper
Age Limit: 25-45 years

Required Qualifications:
Either: An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science or Honors Bachelor’s degree in Records Management from a recognized University or institution. Should have a minimum experience of two years in library management.

Duties:
1. To participate in the revival, setup and opening of the Institute Library.
2. To develop and maintain systems for organizing the Library holdings to facilitate the needs of readers, and be responsible for the maintenance in good order and condition of these holdings (books, furniture, study materials etc) and of other Library equipment and for the protection and security thereof.
3. Provide a friendly learning environment in which students feel confident that their information needs will be addressed.
